Product Description |
The CE series switch system uses orthogonal connector architecture. This architecture, together with the dynamic distributed large buffer on LPUs, can better handle high traffic rates and traffic bursts resulting from cloud computing. The CE series switch system is highly scalable. A chassis provides 2 Tbit/s per slot bandwidth and a maximum of 48 Tbit/s switching capacity, which is three times the average of similar products. The CE series switch supports the cluster switch system (CSS) and virtual system (VS) technologies. The CSS technology virtualizes multiple physical devices into one logical device, and the VS technology virtualizes one physical device into multiple logical devices independent of one another. The virtualization technologies isolate different services and departments of an enterprise, simplify device management, and improve network reliability |
