    HP Laserjet Printer does perform Duplicate Address detection and does not send any further packets with the same Link local address once it detects Duplicate scenario as per the test specification.
It always configures itself with its own Link Local and Global address unless there is a duplicate address detected.
With reference to RFC 4862 it is mentioned that, if the DAD is detected by the node(device), it can be manually configured with another unique Link local address to come back on the network.
Whereas HP LaserJet Series printer, there is no mechanism to configure different Link-local address manually.
Printer's IPv6 interface is designed to automatically reconfigure with unique Link Local address, and relatively Global address in case of DAD.
So same is applicable for current printer i.e. HP_LaserJet_MFP_M29w which has the same IPv6 stack design.

HP LaserJet MFP M15w (FW : 20171101 ), HP LaserJet MFP M30w, HP LaserJet MFP M17w, HP Neverstop Laser 1000w and HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w also uses the same stack.
